Tutorial, fitting Lights to LEGO Yellow Cargo Train, set 7939

This is a tutorial on how to fit lights to the LEGO Yellow Cargo Train, set 7939.

The lights are part number 8870 and the rechargeable battery is part number 8878, these can be bought from the LEGO shop on-line. The power adapter\battery charger is the LEGO Power Functions Transformer\Charger 10V DC Part 8887, make sure you are buying the correct transformer for your region.

LEGO® InterCity 125 HST with DCC Sound and Lights

My LEGO® InterCity 125 HST model has been converted from LEGO®’s 9V conventional DC control to Digital Command Control (DCC). The DCC decoder is an ESU LokSound 4.0 fitted with Legomanbiffo’s realistic HST sound samples specific to HST power cars fitted with Paxman Valenta prime movers. Both power cars are converted so that the sound emanates realistically from both ends as well as having two 9V motor bogies powering the complete train. The sounds add a totally mesmerizing and enjoyable operating experience and elevate the LEGO® model to a new level of sophistication. It has a huge impact on unsuspecting viewers!
